I still remember the first trail I ever walked as a boy — the smell of pine, the sound of yak bells somewhere in the distance, and my grandfather telling me the mountains were not something you conquer, but something you listen to.
That memory never left me. For the next 26 years, I built my life around these mountains — working in Nepal's tourism industry, learning every trail, every village, every story the Himalayas had to tell. Two years ago, I finally did what I had always dreamed of. I started my own company. I called it Hiking in Himalaya.
This is not a big corporation. This is me, my team, and our mountains — inviting you to experience Nepal the way we know it, not the way a brochure describes it.
More Than a Trek
We offer trekking, climbing, rafting, jungle safari, heritage tours, day hikes, and wilderness wellness journeys. But if you ask me what we really offer, I would say this: a chance to slow down, breathe deeply, and remember what it feels like to be truly present.
Some of our best journeys take travelers far from the usual tourist path — into quiet villages where you can work alongside farmers in the fields, sit with artisans as they weave and carve, and share tea with families who have called these hills home for generations. These are not staged experiences. This is real life in Nepal, and you are welcome in it.
Safety You Can Trust
I have led people into these mountains for over two decades, and I do not take that responsibility lightly. Every trek we run carries a 100% safety record — because we plan carefully, we hire experienced guides who know these routes like their own homes, and we never cut corners when your life is in our hands.
We also believe you deserve honesty. Clear prices. Clear plans. No hidden costs, no surprises — just straight answers, from the first message you send us to the last step of your journey home.
Giving Back
Every journey booked with Hiking in Himalaya does more than create a memory for you — it creates real change here. A portion of what we earn goes directly back into our communities, supporting education and healthcare for families who cannot otherwise access them. When you travel with us, you are not just a guest. You become part of something that lifts up the people of Nepal.
Walk With Us
If you are searching for more than a checklist of mountains to climb — if you want to feel Nepal, not just see it — I would be honored to guide you.
These trails shaped who I am. I would love for them to become part of your story too.
