Earth has many natural splendors, and among them is Mount Everest, the tallest mountain. Located at 8,849 meters above sea level, there is no land mass above this place.

What to expect during the Everest Base Camp trek 12 days?
The Everest Base Camp trek is a challenging, high-altitude trip. Although it is sold as a beginner-friendly trek, the overall trip can get demanding if you are not fit enough. Nevertheless, the whole experience is worth every challenge and discomfort.
We recommend trekkers not to take the Everest Base Camp trek lightly, but they also do not have to be very serious. With proper preparation, packing, and, of course, our support, we are confident that anyone can complete the EBC trek with us.
- Thrilling Lukla flight: Lukla is situated at 2,860 meters above sea level. The airport is small and has only one 527 m (1,729 ft) × 30 m (98 ft) runway. Only tiny propeller aircraft and helicopters fly in and out of this airport. The runway literally ends at the edge of the cliff, which makes taking off from this airport quite thrilling.
- Lots of uphill and downhill walking: From Lukla to Everest Base Camp, you hike from 2,860 meters to 5,364 meters. The trail ascends and descends throughout the way.
- Varying altitude and climate: The elevation changes every day. From sub-tropical forests to alpine forests, meadows, and glaciers, you will explore different climatic zones.
- The lush foothills of the Himalayas: The lower part of the Himalayas is teeming with vegetation. You will walk through rhododendron and magnolia forests. Gradually enter the pine forest and pass by the juniper before ascending to the alpine meadows.
- The beautiful Sherpa villages and welcoming locals: Sherpas are the natives of the Everest region. The Everest Base Camp trek is a great opportunity to get to know them and their culture closely. They are very friendly and welcoming.
- Ancient monasteries: Although Everest sounds cold and lifeless, that is not the case. The locals are deeply connected to their faiths and practices. You can see many stupas, monasteries, and prayer flags all over the trail. Tengboche and Pangboche are the two main monasteries on the EBC trek route.
- Simple yet cozy accommodation and clean food: Imagine a long day of walking and getting tucked into small but cozy bedding. All your pain melts away as you relax and fall into deep sleep. Likewise, delicious and flavorful meals, not junk and packaged food, will give your body a break.
- Diverse landscapes and breathtaking mountain vistas: You will see varying scenery and many beautiful sunrises and sunsets during the trek. Likewise, the journey is full of incredible mountain views of Thamserku, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Everest, Pumori, etc.
- Exciting side hikes on acclimatization days: We have two acclimatization days in our Everest Base Camp trek itinerary. For the side hikes, you will visit the popular Hotel Everest View and Nangkartshang Peak.
- The Everest Base Camp moment: Arriving at Everest Base Camp will be an epic moment of your entire trek. It will mark the end of your hiking and unlock a huge achievement.
- Gorgeous sunrise from Kala Patthar: Kala Patthar will be your final ascent. You will hike here to see a gorgeous sunrise and the last panorama of Mt. Everest before descending back to Lukla.
- Long descent back to Lukla: The trek does not end at Kala Patthar. After this point, you will spend another three days walking back to Lukla following almost the same trail.
