The Singla Pass trek, also known as the Ruby Valley trek, is a newly introduced trekking program in the central Himalayan range in Nepal. This trek takes you deep within the Ganesh Himal region (between Dhading and Nuwakot districts).

The Singla Pass trek 8 days is a remote, off-the-beaten-path trek in Ruby Valley. This trek presents a break from the popular treks in Nepal and lets you spend time in raw nature.
As the Singla Pass trek explores the beautiful villages, you will see the lifestyle and culture of different Nepali ethnic groups in the mountains. The Tamang community will be the main ethnic group on the Singla Pass trail.
You can extend the Singla Pass trek to Ganesh Himal Base Camp and to superb alpine lakes such as Kalo Daha and Seto Daha. You'll need 4 to 6 more days.

What to expect during the Singla Pass trek 8 days?
The Singla Pass trek is adventurous and quite unique from other treks in the Himalayas. It is not a very high altitude trek. The highest point you will reach on the Singla Pass trek is 4,050 meters.
Even though the altitude gain is on the lower side, the trekking route is extremely adventurous and wild. Only a handful of tourists have explored this hidden gem yet. The trail remains peaceful and unbothered.
It also means that the trekking infrastructure is lacking on the Singla Pass trek route. So, trekkers have to pack all the essentials, prepare their minds to use squat toilets, and be ready for bare minimum services.

The trail winds through villages such as Bhalche, Gongga, Rupchet, Sertung village, Borang Gaon, Tipling village, etc. You will walk via lush terraces, rhododendrons and pine forests, and isolated meadows.

Best time to do the Singla Pass trek
The best time to do the Singla Pass trek is March to May (spring) and late September to November (autumn). You will also enjoy this trek in the winter season, December to February.
If you like greenery and flowers, then spring is the best time to do the Singla Pass trek. Likewise, if you want to see the vibrant fall colors, trek in the autumn season. And winter makes the scenery all white and magical.
Between June and mid-September, the trail is quite affected by heavy rainfall. The lower hills are at high risk of landslides. Likewise, the trails are slippery and muddy.

The Singla Pass trek route doesn't have tea houses or homestays. So, camping is essential. We will set our tents at beautiful yak pastures along the trail.
