The Annapurna Circuit story starts from the ancient salt traders which connects Nepal and Tibet through this route. Now, Annapurna Circuit is famous for trekking. Annapurna circuit is the long distance trekking route which passes through deep river valleys, traditional villages, alpine forests, and high mountains deserts. The Annapurna circuit's duration is about 12-20 days depending upon the starting and ending points of trekking. The total distance of trekking covered is about 160-230 km. Thorang La Pass (5,416m) above the sea level is another highlight of this trek. The best seasons of Annapurna Circuit trekking are spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) as these seasons have stable weather and beautiful views.

A small village called Tatopani where you get experience of warm water pools to rest your tired feet on your journey. The Sun rising is spotted from the white peak of Pon hill.
The Annapurna Circuit starts from Besisahar which is approximately 175 km from Kathmandu valley via roadways which take 7-8 hours by Prithivi highway. The route passes through Naubise and Mugling which is a famous stop for breakfast and lunch where you enjoy local fish for lunch and dinner. The route passes through Dumre leaving the main highway to Pokhara towards Lamjung. The final stop is Besisahar which is the district headquarters of the Lamjung.
The famous Poon Hill view point which is located at the altitude of 3210m, you can see the jaw-dropping view of wonderful white mountains covered with snow like Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail and Annapurna I. Early in the morning, the rising sun glowing from the lap of these mountains. Then after these sightseeing you walk forward to the village called Tadapani.
The next day, early in the morning you start your trekking by walking downhill. You reach the Kimrong river and then again walk uphill to reach a beautiful village named Chhomrong village. On a walk of nearly 2500 steps, you cross the Chhomrong river bridge and then climb uphill to reach Sinuwa.
After reaching Sinuwa you will continue your journey passing through the beautiful and calm forest to Kuldihar. You will walk through bamboo forest which is almost as wet as the rainforest, with a few sections that are quite steep. After walking a few stone steps you reached the Himalaya Hotel which only has forest cleared so that you reached out to the Sun again.
The trail becomes steeper as you walk through a dry forest towards Hinku Cave. A beautiful view appears as the trees become fewer. You can see rivers flowing below and tall rocky cliffs with waterfalls. After reaching this point, you are excited and really imagining reaching Annapurna Base Camp.
Slightly climb to riverbed and hike the steep trail to mountain side, you reach to Machhapuchhre Base Camp from where you will get remarkable views of different snowy peaks likes Machhapuchhre, Mt.Hiuchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna which is thrilling.
After enjoying and relaxing you will start your returning journey towards Pokhara by the same route backwards but you will not get as much difficulties as coming as there is much more down hill to Bamboo again. After that you reach Chhomrong Khola then Jhinu Danda, you spend the night there. You have fun in the hot springs just 15 - 20 minutes easy downhill trek from Jhinu Danda where you enjoy hot springs water that forget your fatigue to relaxation and enjoyable.
Along the downhill path from Jhinu Khola Danda to the new bridge Nepali Flat you will arrive at Syauli Bazar after walking for 3 hours. Your memorable Trekking journey of 20 days of Annapurna Circuit Trek with Tilicho lake ends here after reaching Pokhara.
